So I decided that this blog was going to be out of my first journal entry from Malawi. Everything is so amazing and I am loving it here. God has blessed me so much already and I am so anxious to see what else He has in store for us.
Malawi Day 2 1/22/13 6:00AM
Hearing people praise God is beautiful in any language. God, you are so amazing and I am so unworthy of all that You give. Thank you.
I am surrounded by your creation. Plants, animals, a beautiful sunrise hand-painted by You, and Your people worshiping and praising you.
The sound of praise, the sound of the wind and animals, and the sound of Lilongwe waking up is a symphony of beauty.
Worship and love hold no language barriers. It’s universal and once we are in Heaven, we won’t need interpreters anymore. We already worship as one body, this is only a small but beautiful taste of how Heaven will be and I am stoked.
The amount of love and joy I have felt since arriving is unmeasurable. I am blessed beyond all words.
Your people, no matter where they are or what language they speak are all connected by Your love and mercy. I have never felt so much peace or like I have belonged somewhere as much as I do here. This is exactly where I’m supposed to be.
Life is good. No… Life is great and God is amazing.
How am I feeling today? I’m feeling great. Like this is where I belong. I am surrounded by 9 other incredible women of Christ and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Jesus Time (1/22/13): 1 Chronicles 16:8-12
Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name;
make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always.
Remember the wonders he has done,
his miracles, and the judgements he pronounced.
